At a "Geek Dinner" last night (who named these things? was it you, Robert?), I was mocked. Mocked... by a bunch of -- dare I say geeks? -- for having my blog on LiveJournal.
LiveJournal, said they, is where girls blog.
Ahem. Well, yeah, I confess: I'm a girl!
Being the open-minded individual I am, however, I had to ask: ok then, where do you recommend? John didn't even hesitate: TypePad, said he.
So here I am. Sucumbing to peer pressure. Testing out typepad.
This is a test. This is only a test.
I will continue to host my friends-and-family blog on LiveJournal (shhhh! don't reveal the secret agent location!). No links to the party list (although I might email it to ya if you're nice), no HR moments, and nothing I wouldn't want to see on the front page of the newspaper (thanks for the advice, mom).
Which leaves me wondering... what's left? Well, how bout this little test, from the BBC's Science of the Mind site. It's perfect for anyone who deals with folks in marketing and/or PR. ;) Tell me your score & I'll tell you mine.
